Our History

Founded by Otto de Groot and Fred Harmsen in 1981, the business is since 2004 led by Otto de Groot as sole owner. The company doubled its staff members over the last 5 years.


In 2010, with more than 30 skilled employees, we are based in Rotterdam, the Netherlands and Lisbon, Portugal and have been specializing in fruit and vegetables, gaining extensive experience over the years.

We conduct surveys, quality controls and handle international claims for a wide range of customers such as fruit importers, exporters and the insurance industry.

By expanding our operations and working with companies worldwide, we have been able to build a strong name in the market and expanded our network with international surveyors.

We also have a cooperation with Ibero Agro Expertise, a company based in Valencia, Spain conducting quality controls, with whom we have been working together closely in the past years.
